Read this report that discusses leadership in Early Childhood Education from within a whānau context. The research paper suggests that each member of a community has a role as leader. The notion of leadership in this research can be viewed in relation to four key responsibilities – Being Responsible, Having Responsibility, Taking Responsibility, and Sharing Responsibility. Te Kōpae Piripono kōhanga reo in New Plymouth is viewed as an example in this research.
