Parents are partners in the learning journey of their children. The Ministry of Education has a range of materials and information for parents to assist them to work in partnership with their local education centres and schools.

Parents as Partners
The Knowledge Breakfast
During 2002, the locally produced television series The Knowledge Breakfast
screened on TV1. This 8-part series featured weekly 1-2 minute video segments
entitled "Parents as Partners".
These were produced by the TKI team for the Ministry of Education to assist parents to gain insights into how they, together with their local schools, can be part of a learning partnership to assist their children.
