The homepage on TKI is arranged into three sections.
The main section includes links to the following:

The TKI communities. These represent the seven essential learning areas, as well as Māori education and a number of Ministry of Education initiatives. Each community has a news page with community notices and events, and links to curriculum-related teaching material. |

The governing and managing New Zealand schools community. This has resources for school principals and boards of trustees including tools for implementing the National Education Guidelines. |

The ICT community. This collects a host of material to support the use of ICT in teaching and learning. |

The search engine. Search for resources and websites relevant to your needs. All materials on the site have been assessed by the TKI professional team. |

The latest Hot Topic. Each Hot Topic provides a brief outline of a current issue, and a collection of related websites. Hot Topics are published fortnightly. |

NCEA. TKI houses the internal assessment resources for the National Certificate of Education Achievement. |
The News section of the page highlights the latest TKI news.
The navigation section on the right of the page includes a link to On TKI, which features:
