Strategic Partnerships

EdNA Online
The 2002 memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and education.au limited of Australia reflects a close working relationship between their respective websites for teachers, TKI and EdNA Online.

EdNA Online supports and promotes the benefits of the Internet for learning, education and training in Australia. It is funded by the bodies responsible for education provision in Australia – all Australian governments.

By sharing insights, information, and resources, TKI and EdNA Online will be able to bring an increased wealth of curriculum-related materials and expertise to New Zealand and Australian teachers and learner audiences.

New Zealand Television Archive
With the opening of their new high-tech and spacious premises in Avalon, the New Zealand Television Archive is looking forward to a new era which will enable enhanced activities such as visits and viewings of their extensive collection, and distance learning initiatives based around their television, news, and film records which date back from the early days of television to the present day.

TKI is looking forward to working with the Archive to explore how we can provide our audiences with information about these new opportunities.

Radio New Zealand
Radio New Zealand's diverse programming can provide rich learning opportunities with programmes as diverse as what's happening in the science world today, to the work of local classical composers featured on its Concert Network.

TKI is working with Radio New Zealand to see how we can best alert our audiences to programmes which may be of interest to teachers and students and to offer associated starter ideas and suggested links.
