Living Heritage
Living Heritage aims to capture and preserve New Zealand’s heritage online by creating a “living” database of original heritage resources. Schools are encouraged to discover a heritage treasure in their community, research it, and create a website resource about it in either English or Māori.
Schools can use self-publishing software to record their work as a digital resource. No special design or technical skills are required. These resources will be hosted on the Living Heritage website, creating a treasure-trove of information reflecting the unique identities of our people and places.

LEARNZ
LEARNZ is an online programme for students in years 4 to 10. It targets science, social studies, geography, and technology and enables students to take a virtual field trip to remote and inaccessible places and to meet people who have careers in these curriculum areas. Confirmed field trips for this year are available from the website.
The website prepares students for the field trips in the weeks leading up to the virtual experience by providing background resources, student activities, teacher support, and curriculum ideas. A joining fee applies and LEARNZ registered schools can enrol classes in any field trips at no extra cost.

This official website tracks the fully restored Gipsy Moth IV as it circumnavigates the globe for the second time. Give your students the opportunity to follow the journey by registering to receive educational resources with monthly updates and the ability to communicate with the crew.
