Constraints

We think of constraints as negative, but within the field of curriculum design they can be positive as well. Constraints may be related to both people (such as the English language skills of the student group or the training of the teachers) and resources (such as the departmental scheme or the size of the classroom). Once constraints are identified strategies can be worked out to effectively manage the constraints.
