He tono tenei ki nga ropu whakahaere kia tono mai mo tenei tahua hei whakarato hotaka whakahiki pukenga mo nga kaiako o nga kohanga reo Organisations are invited to apply to a contestable funding pool to provide professional learning programmes for teachers in kohanga reo, kura kaupapa Māori, wharekura, and other Māori immersion schools or classes within schools. The aim is to strengthen teachers' capability to teach through the medium of te reo Māori, by providing programmes that improve teachers' language proficiency and increase their knowledge and skill in how to become more effective Māori medium teachers.
