Activities
7. Make your film story longer
Go to Activities for Sima Urale and make a short film by selecting frames and placing them in a sequence.
Decide on one or two things that will happen next.
Make eight more drawings as a storyboard that show what happens next.
Tell someone about your ideas. Refer to the link at PROCESS - Storyboard.
Alternatively make a storyboard to show what happened before your short film starts.

8. Combining four arts disciplines in an interdisciplinary project
Use ideas for all the artists included in Creative Explorer.
Patricia Grace, Fiona Pardington, Sima Urale, Maree Sheehan, Neil Ieremia, Michael Hurst, Robyn Kahukiwa.
For example:
a. Explore a common theme such as "Change" or "Texture" as it relates to each discipline and design ways to link ideas as a visual and performing experience.
b. Celebrate an event around a particular theme such as "Our School Centenary" and use dance, drama, music and visual art to communicate a variety of ideas about that.
9. More ideas on the interdisciplinary nature of the arts
Begin a notebook or folder which becomes your collection of ideas whenever you experience a "crossing over" of the arts.
For example:
- Watching TV ads or programmes
- Exploring computer software programmes
- Visiting art galleries and theatres
- Fairs, parades, community events
- Festivals, competitions, tournaments
- Marketing strategies using multi media.
