A music suite and dance space are attached to the school hall at Tauranga Intermediate.
Instrument cupboard.
Music room.The music room is used for half-classes. Two music practice rooms and a teacher's room are attached. The teacher's room has windows to the dance space and to one of the practice rooms, making it suitable for use as a recording room. A large instrument cupboard opens onto the music room.
Storage garage.
Dance space.The dance space is large enough for a full class and has vinyl flooring over concrete. Folding doors along one wall open into the school hall/gymnasium. Other large doors open to an aluminium storage garage for sports and performing arts equipment.
The school intends to extend the complex onto land behind, and include larger music, dance, and drama facilities.
