Teachers share innovative ideas and fresh approaches to teaching visual arts to year 7–13 students in New Zealand schools. For each of the learning module examples, there is a gallery of student work, an explanation of the teaching and learning processes and an explanation of how the module relates to the art curriculum strands and objectives.

Ministry of Education Online Gallery
Student artworks from schools have been on show in the foyer of the 10th Floor, Vogel Building, one of the Ministry's head office buildings. Judy Matthew, who initiated the displays, wants more schools to participate and more people to be able to see the student artwork that Ministry staff have enjoyed. So has set up this online gallery.

10th International Children's Painting Exhibition The Olympic and ParaOlympic Games of 2004
This gallery contains 13 New Zealand entries for the 10th International Children's Painting Exhibition. Five paintings were chosen to be displayed during the Olympic Games in August 2004.

The Auckland Intermediate Art Exhibition 2003
The artworks displayed here are a selection from the Auckland Intermediate Art Exhibition 2003. This exhibition has been held annually for over 30 years, and is organised by the Auckland Intermediate Art Teachers Association with generous sponsporship from The Aotea Centre, The Edge and a private citizen, David Baylis.
