Automatic student upload
You will want to use e-asTTle tests for particular classes and groups of students and, therefore, you will want to be able to see those groups and classes in e-asTTle. Your Student Management System (SMS) will help you to do this, with many SMS supporting the ability to automatically upload class and group details to e-asTTle. As currently not all SMS support the ability to automatically upload class and group details to e-asTTle, please follow the appropriate link below for further information about your SMS as well as information about getting started with e-asTTle.
The uploading of class and group details to e-asTTle will be covered during your training.

- Extract all student and class / group details from your SMS. This extract will need to be in the asTTle v4 file format.
- Upload the file produced to the Web Portal. The web portal is the same as that used for the uploading of other student data files (e.g., the Roll Return File) to the Ministry of Education. Further help with uploading the asTTle v4 file can be found here (PDF 56KB).
That’s it! The Ministry of Education will then (on your behalf) upload the file to e-asTTle. Once this has been completed, you will receive an email confirming that your students and class / groups have been successfully uploaded into e-asTTle.
