How do I get a new password for Digistore?
If you have registered on Digistore but can not find your school's log-in, check with your principal first. If your principal has forgotten the password, send an email to digistore@tki.org.nz asking for it to be re-sent.
Learning objects don’t work within my browser
The main causes for learning objects not to work within your browser include:
- incorrect software loaded on your computer; or
- an issue with your security settings within your browser.

Security settings for XP Service Patch 2
Some users with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 may need to change a security setting in their browser to allow the Flash learning objects to operate correctly.
To resolve this problem:
- Open Internet Explorer
- Select 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' > 'Advanced Tab'
- Scroll down to 'Security' - tick 'Allow active content from CDs to run on My Computer'
- Select 'Apply'
- Select 'OK'.
Alternatively, you could simply upgrade your version to Internet Explorer 7.
