NCEA ESOL Units online
Eight new NCEA ESOL Unit Standards learning activities (Levels 2 & 3) are now live on ESOL Online under Secondary ESOL. They are linked in Our Changing World: An integrated unit of work, written by Jenni Bedford and Breda Matthews.
These unit standards activities incorporate reading, writing, speaking, and listening. They relate to NCEA levels 2 and 3: unit standards 2986, 17360, 17363, 17368, 15007, 15009, 17144, and 17142.
International secondary students from the Northern Hemisphere are now arriving at some schools, and you might find these units very useful to begin their programmes.
