This is a treasure trove of New Zealand art and music resources, supporting New Zealand teachers and students of visual arts, music, social studies, technology (design), English (visual language strand) and history. Discover holds many items of cultural significance to Maori. It contains photographs, drawings, prints, paintings, posters, essays, as well as video and sound clips that reflect our unique New Zealand heritage.

- EPIC (Electronic Products In Collaboration)
EPIC is a venture between New Zealand libraries and the Ministry of Education giving schools free access to a wide range of electronic resources from database providers EBSCO and Thompson Gale, including some New Zealand content. Schools need to register.

New Zealand's community-based support service that meets the English language and social needs of adult New Zealanders from non-English-speaking backgrounds. Read the New Zealand research on refugee re-settlement issues and language learning. Order the "Now You're Talking" cards that include language and cultural notes, classroom phrases and pronunciation guides.
- Index New Zealand Online
The index lists information about articles published in around 300 New Zealand newspapers, magazines, and journals, mainly since 1987. Index New Zealand Online has been developed to support teaching and learning in New Zealand and is managed by the National Library of New Zealand. Registration is required.

- The Journal of the Polynesian Society
The University of Auckland Library and the Polynesian Society have collaborated in initiating the Online Journal. The project will progressively digitise the first 100 years of the Journal, from 1892-1991.
- Literature Review on the Effective Engagement of Pasifika Parents & Communities in Education (PISCPL) - Ministry of Education
Designed to complement and inform an evaluation of the Ministry's PISCPL project. The review explored barriers to Pacific Island parent/community engagement and strategies that can support home-school engagement.

A collaborative project between the Tongan students at Marcellin College and students from Takuilau College in Lapaha to record the tapa making tradition.
- Local Noise
Local Noise is an Australian Research Council funded project led by Mitchell and Pennycook from the University of Technology, Sydney. Its focus is on the localisation of hip-hop in different cultural, societal and educational contexts. Local Noise has been looking at hip-hop as an educational tool, expressing people's stories. The focus is on its success in the face of a general failure of education policies for marginalised groups in society, both in urban and rural settings.
