Established for the provision of a support system for parents and teachers of gifted and talented individuals, the NZCGE is also a good source of information. Newsletters, conferences, and programmes for children with special abilities are just a few of the services this organization provides.

Based in the U.S., this organisation is probably the largest in the world and is made up of educators and parents worldwide. Membership includes a subscription to Gifted Child Quarterly, as well as newsletters. A number of membership divisions exist which cater to special interests (ie, creativity, gifted children with disabilities, etc.). Members also have access to Parenting for High Potential, a new journal aimed at parents of gifted children.
