The Power of the Real World Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, New Zealand
An English Online unit plan for year 9, level 5-7. The unit aims to integrate an entire term’s work into a common theme study that focuses on non-fiction genres, across all strands of the English curriculum. This unit could be used to cater for Gifted and Talented students in the mainstream.

Finding Out About Competitions

Out of School Provisions for Gifted and Talented Students
This resource was compiled from a research project led by Dr Tracy Riley from Massey University, and contains lists of competitions, activities, and programmes suitable for gifted students at all levels. The programmes featured cover a range of talents and interests, and are both local and regional.
