LEARNZ
LEARNZ is an online programme for students at curriculum levels 2-8, targeting science, geography, social studies, and technology. See the site for current virtual field trips and a list of field trips for the coming year. The website has background resources, student activities, assessments, teacher support and curriculum ideas to prepare students for a 3-4 day interactive experience. Registration fee applies. LEARNZ is a Ministry of Education 'Learning Experiences Outside the Classroom' (LEOTC) provider.

Enterprise New Zealand Trust
The Enterprise New Zealand Trust's principal objective is to promote an enterprise culture amongst New Zealand school students. Funded by the private sector and the Ministry of Commerce, it provides competition programmes including the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES), Financial Education Programme (FED), Enterprise Student Programme (ESP) and Primary Enterprise Programme (PrEP).

Out of School Provisions for Gifted and Talented Students
This resource was compiled from a research project led by Dr Tracy Riley from Massey University, and contains lists of competitions, activities, and programmes suitable for gifted students at all levels. The programmes featured cover a range of talents and interests, and are both local and regional.
