Kids Design Network
This site is designed to help teachers nurture students' problem solving skills. Students are given engineering challenges to solve. The emphasis is on collaborative problem solving of technological challenges. Students are encouraged to talk with each other, their teachers, and the on-line engineer to help design and modify inventions.

Out of School Provisions for Gifted and Talented Students
This resource was compiled from a research project led by Dr Tracy Riley from Massey University, and contains lists of competitions, activities, and programmes suitable for gifted students at all levels. The programmes featured cover a range of talents and interests, and are both local and regional.
