Cooperative sport
This unit provides an opportunity for students to develop constructive
attitudes, values, and behaviours to manage cooperative and competitive
sporting environments through modified volleyball.
Heart running
This unit provides an opportunity for students to explore their
notions of health, influences on their health, critique the value
of deliberate physical activity, and apply a process to improve
competence in cross-country.
My athletic identity
This unit provides an opportunity for students to explore the social
and cultural significance of participation in athletics, both for
the individual and for the school.
Perceptive cricket
This unit provides an opportunity for students to explore the effect
of the media on their perspective of cricket and the social and
cultural significance of sport, both for the individual and for
society.
Playing the game safely
This unit provides an opportunity for students to explore the safety
issues related to learning, devising, teaching, and playing minor
games.
Techy tennis
This unit provides an opportunity for students to identify and critically
appraise the contribution of science, technology, and the environment
to tennis.
Touch
This unit provides an opportunity for students to explore what inclusion
means, develop strategies to enhance inclusion, and consider the
effect on promoting inclusion in a sport context.
