Learning experience 5: Games and pastimes Ngā mahi a te rēhia

Whakapapa

Tānerore and Hineruhi passed the knowledge of the arts, in particular dance and movement, to their descendants. This ancient knowledge continues to be interpreted within the contemporary world of Māori performing arts. They range from all aspects of Māori performance such as haka, poi and waiata ā-ringa, to other significant Māori protocols and rituals.
