Morph Magic
This ICT starter idea written by teachers, for teachers, describes
how students could use a morphing program to show a variety of processes,
for instance, plants growing, the history of car styles, or generations
of a family.

Prerequisites
- Ability to download a free morphing program
- Photos at various stages of development in digital form (digital camera or scanned images)
- Time should be allowed for reading the introduction/tutorial to this simple program
Resources
Possible context
- Take photos of a plant at various growth stages
- Track the change in design of cars since their creation
- Look at similar characteristics through generations, for example, morph grandmother, mother, and granddaughter
Suggested process
- Take photos or select photos that represent the change process at various stages.
- Read the introduction tutorial and place the dots around the two pictures to be morphed together.
- Ensure that the dots are frequent enough to create a smooth transition.
