The CANZ quality and business process:
- Computer Access NZ
(CANZ) administers a national code of practice for computer recyclers
which gives confidence to both equipment donors and end-users
that the programme is run in a businesslike manner and to high
ethical standards.
- CANZ accredits approved
recyclers and monitors their adherence to the CANZ code of practice.
- CANZ sets national
quality, specification and price standards for refurbished machines.
These standards are supported by CANZ branding, and include warranties.
- CANZ liaises with
education authorities to make sure that recycling practices and
standards are in harmony with national policies and desired education
outcomes.
