Waimea South Cluster

Waimea South Cluster consists of seven schools in the Waimea west region of Nelson province. It is one of the 2005–2007 ICT PD Clusters.

Through participating in the ICT Professional Development Cluster project, teachers will:

• explore and share beliefs about teaching and learning and their relationship to current pedagogy in this field
• develop an inquiry learning approach that incorporates current pedagogy
• develop strategies to use information and communication technology (ICT) effectively and develop teaching practices that incorporate current theory
• use ICT to develop planning, assessment, recording, and reporting school-wide.

The cluster will use Trevor Bond's inquiry learning model SAUCE.
