A writing support and multimedia tool that enables learners to write with whole words, phrases, or pictures.
Clicker 5 is a versatile tool that teachers can use to customise reading and writing materials for learners with beginning literacy skills, and is a useful resource for special education teaching. Learners can 'click on' words, phrases, or pictures at the bottom of the screen, and send them to a 'talking word processer' to hear the words before they are written, or hear whole sentences when they are written.
The ANZ version enhances Clicker 5 with Australian and New Zealand content: an additional graphics library, localised grid sets, and a direct link to Learning Grids ANZ.
The Clicker Grids can be operated with simple switches, so people who cannot use a mouse or keyboard can also use Clicker.
