PowerResearcher provides a comprehensive framework and tools to help teachers and students manage Internet research projects from planning to completion. A split screen enables integration of research material with original writing whilst viewing and capturing web pages. Teachers can compile and pre-populate a research structure with preferred sources and websites, create online assignments, and set timelines. Students then access the assignments, carry out online research, prepare original text, and return projects in one compressed file to the teacher.
PowerResearcher encourages good research practice and prevents accidental plagiarism by generating automatic source tracking, citations, and bibliographies. It automatically logs all research and writing activity.
