Ministry of Education (1997, 15 September) Curriculum Development: Update 23.  New Zealand Education Gazette.  Wellington. 

This update summarises some of the developments in curriculum integration in New Zealand up to 1997. It includes a review on the Freyberg project which is one of New Zealand's first and longest lasting curriculum integration projects. It summarises the 1997 Ministry of Education Curriculum Integration exploratory study, and details one school's experiences with the project. It also explains how the action research model can be applied to the implementation of curriculum integration in a school.
