Japanese in the New Zealand Curriculum

Level 3: Communication functions with suggested vocabulary

For each of the achievement objectives for the communication functions at level 3, the following table shows suggested structures and expressions, and gives examples of their use.

The communication functions involve:

  • listening
  • speaking
  • reading
  • writing
  • developing appropriate cultural skills and understandings.
