English for speakers of other languages – ESOL

These web pages will contain information for teachers of English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) students. Under the literacy section of the Literacy and Numeracy Strategy, the Ministry is reviewing, refining, and expanding the language and literacy programmes for ESOL students in order to meet particular needs of specific groups of these students.
