Phase 1 research report: Evaluation of the Te Kauhua Māori Mainstream Pilot Project |
Te Kauhua is a professional development pilot project that provides schools with opportunities to address Māori student achievement in mainstream settings. Each cluster is supported to implement their own unique approach.
The research report on the pilot was prepared by personnel at the Wellington College of Education. Their evaluation identifies common transformative processes which resulted in sustained professional growth amongst teachers.
