Whose News – a case study of independent media
This paper is the summary of a workshop from the SocCom Conference 2005. The workshop on independent media used Noam Chomsky’s filters of media as a basis for discussion on the difference between 'independent' media and 'mass' media. Includes the handout of tools for teaching media literacy and information on alternative media sources.
