Lesson 6: Pre-production preparation – storyboarding
This lesson is to help prepare students for storyboarding their ad. Example: Any ad to be re-screened or choice of one that hasn’t been shown yet.
Learning intention
- Prepare for what shots and angles would be needed in an ad by practicing to storyboard.
Success criteria
- “I can” create a storyboard that has a variety of shots and angles appropriate for their ad.
Activity
Students are to complete the storyboarding activity where they are directed into storyboarding a segment of any of the ads they have studied in the module. Storyboards must include a ‘pack shot’ (shot of the product).
