Pasifika Hotshots

Island Jandals

I might give the film business a try.

Island Jandals was written and filmed between 4–6 July 2005 by Fobalicious Productions of Wellington East Girls' College.

What's so special about a pair of jandals? Masina has just started at a new college and her mother is adamant that she should take her special island jandals with her on her first day. Having limited English and a mother who only knows the Island ways can be a disadvantage when trying to cope with a new environment. Or is there something Masina doesn't know?

Fobalicious Productions, from Wellington East Girls' College, explore how language and cultural differences can be overcome with a little divine 'Jandal' intervention.
