Drama posters
Six large (A1) full-colour posters for years 1–13 put drama ‘on the wall’. The posters will be a stimulus for class discussion of the following key aspects of drama:
- Poster 1:

Focus: years 1–8 - Poster 2:
- Working in Role: Developing, Rehearsing, and Performing
Focus: years 9–13 - Poster 3:
- Using Dramatic Structure: Conventions
Focus: years 1–13 - Poster 4:
- Creating Dramatic Space: Imagined Worlds
Focus: years 1–13 - Poster 5:
- Responding to Drama: Where Do We Find Drama in Our Everyday Lives?
Focus: years 1–8 - Poster 6:
- Responding to Drama: Theatre in Aotearoa New Zealand
Focus: years 9–13
The posters will be supported by online teachers’ notes, which provide starter questions and suggestions for classroom use as well as links to the curriculum and to other drama resources.
Although each poster has a suggested focus age-range, the full set will be distributed to both primary and secondary schools, and all six posters can be used directly, or adapted for use, in each setting.
