Tikanga Ā Iwi and Ngā Toi
E whakaatu ana ēnei rauemi i ngā tauira mahi a ngā ākonga mai i ngā taumata kōeke 1–8 huri noa i te motu. Mā ēnei rauemi koutou, ngā pouako, e āwhina.
Ngā Tauaromahi Marautanga o Aotearoa provide annotated examples of authentic student work from years 1 to 10. They will help to answer the questions “What does this work show about this student’s learning?” and “What is this student’s next learning step?” The sets of materials for tikanga ā iwi and ngā toi include:
- he whārangi ihirangi (contents)
- he kōrero mā te pouako (the teachers’ notes)
- he māherehere (a chart mapping the tauaromahi in relation to ngā whenu o te marautanga [the curriculum strands] and ngā taumata kōeke o te marautanga [the curriculum levels])
- he tāhū (a table setting out indicators of student progress at taumata koeke 1–5)
- ngā tauaromahi (the exemplars).
A DVD containing copies of the online versions of the tauaromahi for ngā toi (the visual arts) is being distributed with the print versions.
By December, video clips for toi puoro (music) and ngā mahi a Te Rēhia (the performing arts) will be added to the online versions of the tauaromahi for ngā toi. Check for updates on Māori education: What’s new.
