ESOL Choices
Teachers’ notes supporting Danger!, a title from the Choices series, have been specially written for teachers of international students and other students with ESOL needs. The collection will be useful for year 9–13 English language learners with an English vocabulary of over 2000 words.
The teachers’ notes can be used to support work in the ESOL specialist or mainstream classroom or individual students’ work in English, social studies, technology, and health and physical education.
Distribution
As a one-off item in term 3, schools with international and ESOL-funded students in years 9–13 will receive a pack containing five copies of the Choices title Danger!, one copy of the audiotape, and the teachers’ notes.
Note: The Focus on English teacher and student packs (sent out in 2002 and again in 2003) will be reprinted and made available again in term 3.
