  1. Read through the information on six dictators of the 20th Century. Your task is to construct a business card for THREE of them.

  2. Students are to use the THREE cards provided to write:
    • in the middle of the card, the name of the dictator in capital letters
    • in the top left-hand corner, the date and place of birth (or origin) and of death
    • in the top right-hand corner, one positive achievement by the dictator
    • in the bottom right-hand corner, one major crime or action which the dictator is/was notorious for.

  3. When students have completed the THREE cards, they are to find a partner and introduce themselves in the role of the person or group on the card.

  4. After a brief discussion with their partner, students are to swap partners and repeat the activity.
