Write in the centre of the page, "Why tourists visit Egypt". As a class or
individually see how many ideas you can come up with as to why people visit
Egypt. Write the answers around the key concept. (Alternative: do an
attribute web, Egypt's attributes)
Examples may include:
- To experience a different culture, religion, way of life
- To sail down the Nile River
- To see the Great Pyramids
- To soak up the History of Egypt
- To see the Sphinx
- To go inside tombs in the Valley of the Kings
- To see treasures of Egypt in the Cairo museum, such as real mummies
- To experience a completely different climate and environment to New
Zealand.
