  1. Do the class activity.

  2. Discuss reasons why people may have difficulty getting a job.

  3. Construct a simple Star Diagram to illustrate how people's basic needs are inter-related.

  4. Add to the Spider Map if further ideas emerge from the discussion.

  5. Discuss what is meant by "a good job".

  6. Refer to the Community Service section. Consider possible Social Action that students themselves could take to ensure that they get a good job.

  7. What Social Action can they take to ensure that people around the world (including children) have access to a fairly paid, safe job.

  8. Continue working on the Mini Inquiry into factors that limit people's access to resources, goods and services.
