The key terms that you need to know in order to understand Ritzer's theory
are:
- Students will need either online access to the resources or printed
copies.
In pairs or small groups students create Definition Maps for each term. They
will need one master of the Definition Map outline as a model for creating
their own or six outlines to fill in.
- Provide each group with a set of the Key Cards and Terms.
Set aside thirty minutes for students to complete the activity but be
flexible and allow longer if necessary. It is essential that all students
have clear understandings of the key terms.
- Play with the words
Once they have completed their Key Cards students, individually, create an
Acrostic
poem for one or more of the key terms.
