Hopefully there will be enough students in the class who have been to
McDonalds, or Burger King, or Wendy's, or Pizza Hut, or KFC - one of the
fast food chains - to take a virtual tour right there in the classroom.
Divide the room into the kitchen/food preparation area and the customer area
- eg. place a line of desks across the room to represent the counter.
If there are students in the class who work in one or other of the fast food
chains, ask them to take responsibility for setting up the kitchen.
Another group acts as the customers while the rest of the class observes and
records what is happening.
