Jigsaws
Provide students with a copy of the jigsaw template so they can
trace or draw five blanks of their own to work on.
Working on their own or in pairs, students:
(a) Place a photograph or symbol representing the person on the central piece of the jigsaw.
(c) On each of the other four pieces of the jigsaw record an interesting item of information about the person - e.g. role in the community; occupation; special skills; family; values or beliefs; a quote; an action s/he has taken….
(d) Cut the jigsaws neatly into pieces and shuffle the pieces vigorously.
Randomly allocate jigsaw pieces to each student or pair.
(e) Students swap jigsaw pieces with each other until they have a complete jigsaw of one of the key people.
