This page from the Digital Opportunities project (DigiOps) website introduces Project DISE (Digital Imaging for Special Education). This is an initiative to help student desensitisation and socialisation at Blomfield Special School and Resource Centre. It will focus on the use of digital video technologies to assist students in dealing with environmental conditions, and will trial the use of multimedia technologies for developing digital portfolios. Epilepsy – Facts and Feelings 
Learning Media item 93336. This resource is intended to help students explore how people with epilepsy may feel about themselves and how epilepsy affects day to day living. The video also explains how to help a person experiencing a seizure. The suggested activities, which relate to several areas of the Curriculum Framework, are intended as a bank of ideas from which teachers can draw to suit their particular group. A website aimed at supporting and informing the teenager who is vision-impaired or blind. Although this is primarily a site for the UK market, there is a lot of interesting information relevant internationally, for instance, how to cope with bullying, articles about famous people who are visually impaired and a message board.
