Longest fingernails

Imagine having fingers nails so long that you couldn’t pick your nose!

  1. Read about Lee Redmond from USA who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest fingernails.
  2. Think about how Lee could get around doing normal everyday things. Write down your ideas on a Word document (Word 27KB).
  3. Cut lengths of string or wool to match the length of her individual finger nail lengths and tape them to each of your finger. Try typing on the keyboard, doing up your shoe lace, or dialling a phone number.

Extreme body facts

The Guinness World Records is one of the most famous books in the world.

  1. Read about some of the amazing and weird records about the human body.
  2. Choose one record and write about it using Word or PowerPower.
  3. Remember to use colour, give it a catchy heading, and, if you can copy a photo of the incredible record.
  4. Print it out or send it to us to publish in the Student Gallery.
