Design a quirky kiwi bilingual $10 note

Have you noticed the famous people on New Zealand money? It's time for a new bilingual kiwi $10 note.

  • Open the template to create a new design.

Your design should include:

  • the words "tekau taara" and "ten dollars" written on both sides of the note
  • a passport size picture created in Paint or Draw of a famous Māori one side of the note
  • a drawing of a kiwi icon – let your imaginations run wild! – on the other side of the note.

Use wild and passionate colours.

Design a business card for Bic!

Bic Runga is desperately in need of a funky new business card, as her old one just doesn't do it for her any more. Look at Bic's tour posters for some inspiration. Open the card template to begin.

Her card must have:

  • her name,
  • contact details - phone, email, cell phone (these must be fake),
  • a border which is a Māori design,
  • her own logo.

Ed is researching some famous New Zealander's achievements. He needs your help to get this finished.

  1. Use the wickED Information Station to research each of the New Zealanders.

    • Hirini Melbourne
    • Lord Ernest Rutherford
    • Frances Alda
    • Kate Sheppard

    To use the information station:

    • Click on find it.
    • Choose a search engine.
    • Type in the famous New Zealander's name.
    • Select the appropriate sites to open.
