Our class studied Margaret Mahy stories for English as part of our whole school unit, ‘Bigger, Better, Higher’.
We studied her life and her writing. We worked co-operatively on a story to condense it for an animation presentation using Hyperstudio to share with our junior classes.
Initially we discussed the story and planned a storyboard. After deciding on the sequence and animation effects we created our story using Hyperstudio. We exported the animations into QuickTime and these were imported into iMovie. Music was created using GarageBand in our recording studio.
