e-asTTle upgrade

An upgrade to e-asTTle was carried out on 30 April 2013. This included changes to e-asTTle writing and to the functionality of the tool.

Changes have been made to the e-asTTle writing tool to ensure that each student performance level within e-asTTle writing aligns as accurately as possible with curriculum levels. Heart Foundation PD Workshops

The Heart Foundation has developed a free new level 3 unit plan called ‘Snack Attack’ that aims to make healthier snacking easy. The unit is essentially a teaching plan for a whole term, providing links to the curriculum, achievement objectives, and national standards assessment tasks. Students will learn about nutrition concepts such as hauora, the four food groups, energy balance, label reading, and how to identify healthier packet snacks.

To receive your unit plan, register and attend one of the free PD workshops that will be held around the country in Term 2. These workshops aim to unpack the resource and show you how it can be used in the classroom.
