Microsoft and Symantec Antivirus Agreements 2010-2012
The Ministry has signed a new agreement with Microsoft to continue its commitment to the Microsoft New Zealand School Agreement from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2012.
The Ministry is continuing to support anti-virus in your school. However, there has been a change of provider to Symantec’s End Point Protection (SEP) antivirus.
All information about these new agreements, including enrolment and registration forms, FAQs and all other associated documentation links, will be posted to this site.
Your school will be contacted by email to enrol and register in each of these programmes in September 2009.

14 September 2009 – New Renaissance Apple software Agreement 2010-2012

14 September – New Novell Agreement 2010-2013
This three-year agreement commences in May 2010. Further information and registration details will be posted on this site before the end of 2009.
14 September - New Watchdog and Telecom Web filtering and Firewall Agreements 2010-2012
The Ministry has signed new three-year agreements with Telecom and Watchdog for Web filtering and firewall services. These agreements begin in January 2010 and expire in December 2012.

14 September - CA Secure Content Manager and Surf Control licenses
Both CA Secure Content Manager and Surf Control license agreements will expire in June 2010. The Ministry will release an update for schools using these products before the end of 2009.
