Abstrak

Studi ini menyelidiki hubungan antara kepemimpinan wanita, dukungan bawahan yang dirasakan, dan kemampuan inovasi dalam organisasi di Jakarta, Indonesia. Meskipun terdapat banyak penelitian tentang kepemimpinan dan inovasi, masih ada kesenjangan dalam memahami kontribusi spesifik pemimpin wanita dan bagaimana dukungan bawahan mempengaruhi efektivitas mereka. Dengan menggunakan sampel purposif dari pemimpin wanita dan menerapkan pendekatan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan analisis Partial Least Squares (PLS), penelitian ini menguji tiga hipotesis utama. Temuan awal menunjukkan hubungan positif yang signifikan secara statistik antara kepemimpinan wanita dengan kemampuan inovasi dan dukungan bawahan yang dirasakan. Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan langsung yang signifikan secara statistik antara dukungan bawahan yang dirasakan dan kemampuan inovasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemimpin wanita memainkan peran yang kuat dan mendasar dalam organisasi dengan menumbuhkan lingkungan yang mendukung, yang pada gilirannya dapat secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi inovasi. Studi ini berkontribusi pada literatur dengan menyoroti dampak langsung kepemimpinan wanita pada hasil organisasi utama, sekaligus menjadi dasar awal untuk penelitian masa depan tentang peran mediasi dukungan bawahan.
