lsslot pada VIOS tidak menampilkan semua adaptor PCIe pada sistem Power10, 9028-21B

Gejala

"lsslot -c pci" tidak menampilkan semua adaptor PCI, misalnya adaptor FC tidak muncul. Namun, adaptor tersebut terlihat dengan "lsslot -c phb" atau "lsdev".

Adaptor tidak berada di slot yang mendukung hot plug.

Penyelesaian Masalah

PENTING: disarankan untuk mengelola VIOS dari CLI padmin daripada oem_setup_env/AIX root. VIOS versi 4.1 didasarkan pada AIX 7.3. Menurut dokumentasi perintah lsslot AIX 7.3, perintah lsslot hanya menampilkan slot hot plug. Periksa dokumentasi sistem Power untuk menentukan apakah adaptor berada di slot hot plug. Dari Redbook: Power S1012 Technical Overview and Introduction (9028-21B), bagian 2.3.7 I/O subsystem menyatakan bahwa slot PCIe tidak hot pluggable di Power S1012. Oleh karena itu, perintah lsslot bekerja sesuai rancangan.
